Mission
Central California Swimming’s mission is to promote swimming at every ability level,
increase outreach membership, produce a championship mindset and work ethic,
and provide every athlete an opportunity to swim. .

ARC Safety Training for Swim Coaches Instructor

Those wishing to be STSC instructors must complete all of the following:

  1. Possess a current ARC certificate in one of the following: Water Safety Instructor, Water Safety Instructor Trainer, Lifeguard Training Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, Basic Water Rescue Instructor.

  2. Possess a current Safety Training for Swim Coaches certificate (see above).

  3. Have a competitive swimming background. (This should be determined by the Local Swimming Committee and local American Red Cross Chapter.)
